From Talk Radio UK to talkSPORT
January: It is announced that Russ Williams of Virgin Radio is to replace Kelly Dalglish as presenter of the Monday night Kick-Off show alongside Jason Cundy. Following his first show, he says: He said: “I’ve listened to talkSPORT for many years and the listeners of the station are crucial to their success. They are knowledgeable, entertaining and call a spade a spade. They made me feel very welcome which I thank them for even if they didn’t agree with some of the things that I know. But the station is all about opinions.”
Dominic Johnson, Mick Brown and Ray Khan all make their debuts as presenters on talkSPORT covering for a variety of shows and presenters including Rhodri Williams on The Saturday Sports Quiz and The Rugby Show, Ian Danter on Matchday Live Preview and The Ultimate Late Show with Ian Collins. |
