January: It is announced that Russ Williams of Virgin Radio is to replace Kelly Dalglish as presenter of the Monday night Kick-Off show alongside Jason Cundy. Following his first show, he says: He said: “I’ve listened to talkSPORT for many years and the listeners of the station are crucial to their success. They are knowledgeable, entertaining and call a spade a spade. They made me feel very welcome which I thank them for even if they didn’t agree with some of the things that I know. But the station is all about opinions.” |
